Ski vacations in a converted van – The essentials

Ski vacations in a converted van – The essentials 1400 560 VanBreak - Campervan and MotorHome Hire in Spain

Looking for a last-minute adventure in the mountains? It’s possible: going on a ski trip in a converted van is not incompatible.

In fact, it’s an increasingly popular model for ski vacations, offering a host of advantages. But if you want to make the most of your stay, there are a few essentials you need to take into account.

Here are a few tips for an unforgettable experience in the snow with your family or travel partner!

Don’t forget the essentials

Ski_Vanaménagé

Whether you’re a winter mountain regular or a winter sports novice, all it takes is a little common sense to pack your bag before a ski trip in a converted van!

As winter activities are generally sporty, it’s a good idea to pack practical, comfortable and, above all, warm gear to face the cold. Be careful not to overload your bag, as you need to keep enough room to live in your
converted van
!

We can’t stress this enough: prefer soft bags to suitcases, which are much easier to store in a van or camper van. What’s more, there are many lightweight but warm “thermal” garments that won’t take up space in your bag and will dry quickly if you need to wash them.

Get ready for the cold and snow with the essentials for your ski trip in a converted van:

  • Your identity papers;
  • A little change, as some ATMs charge a high commission;
  • Ski / snow / hiking equipment (your own or rented on site);
  • Ski clothing: thick socks, ski suit and thin thermal clothing;
  • Toiletry bag;
  • Comfortable outfits for evenings or off-duty days;
  • Gloves, hats, scarves;
  • Sunglasses and mask;
  • Backpack;
  • Sunscreen (essential!);
  • Gourd;
  • Après skis for a stroll at the end of the day;
  • Headlamp for night-time use if required;
  • Sleeping bag;
  • Rope for drying clothes;

The list is not exhaustive and will also depend on your activities, but remember: go light but useful!

Take 5 minutes to read our article The checklist for preparing your trip in a converted van, so that you can set off in optimum conditions.

Essential precautions for a successful mountain holiday

Route-eneigée-Van

Equipping yourself for the cold and snow isn’t enough when you head off to winter sports in a van or camper van. You also need to equip your vehicle and keep a few important parameters in mind before you set off!
We’ve listed the most important points here, and they’re not just specific to winter mountain holidays, but can also be useful for your next trip in a van or camper van.

Quality tires and the right equipment

If you’ve decided to go on a ski trip in a converted van, it’s important to make sure your tires are in good condition before you leave (whether it’s your own vehicle or a rental van).
At Vanbreak, our tires are brand-new and well-maintained, and we offer anti-slip socks to slip on your wheels without difficulty as you approach the ski resort. Difficulty putting them on? Don’t hesitate to ask other van travellers for help!
Some resorts with heavy snowfall and difficult access have made certain equipment, such as chains or socks, compulsory.
No risks are allowed on the road, and this is even truer in the mountains! If you don’t have the necessary equipment to reach the winter sports resort, don’t venture out – it could ruin your stay in your converted van.

Clear snow from your vehicle regularly

Although this is not always the case, it does happen that snow falls continuously and sometimes in thick layers in the ski resort ! This is not a problem when you want to partir en voyage au ski en van aménagé ou camping carOn the contrary, it makes the setting even more magical.
However, it’s important to take care of your van and clear as much snow as possible to preserve it. Allowing snow to infiltrate the sunroof systems, for example, could damage them. Worse still, some converted vans, like Vanbreak‘s, recharge their auxiliary battery partly from solar panels.
As you can see, snow on this equipment will prevent you from making the most of your van’ s comfort, and will damage your vehicle!
So take good care of them.

AN-TI-CI-PA-TION, rien d’autre 😊.

Drain continuously

Winter temperatures in the mountains are often much lower than elsewhere, so it’s vital to preserve your van‘s drainage system. In fact, it can happen that a block of ice forms in the pipes. If this is the case, gently run a little lukewarm water until drainage resumes.
To prevent this inconvenience, remember to open your wastewater valve to ensure a continuous flow. Of course, you’ll need a receptacle to catch the dirty water.

As you can see, caution and anticipation are the watchwords for a successful stay in the mountains with your camper van. Arm yourself with common sense and patience, and your vacation will be unforgettable!

Where to park in the mountains in winter?

Ski_Vanaménagé

Over the past few years, more and more holidaymakers have been opting for mountain vac ations in a converted van or motorhome. That’s why ski resorts have adapted and now offer amenities for winter adventurers!
There are several options available to you.

Parking lots suitable for converted vans and motorhomes

The democratization of van vacations in the mountains has encouraged ski resorts to set up parking lots and service areas for vans, motorhomes and converted vans.
Although some are free, most offer a daily rate of no more than €10 per day. Designed solely for parking, these parking lots offer no specific services, unlike service areas, for example, which provide access to electricity and drinking water.
Alternating between the two options can be a good solution if you run out of autonomy.
If you’re planning an adventure in the Sierra Nevada, here’s how to find us

La Sabinas

for converted vans and campervans:

Parking Las Sabinas
18196 Monachil, Granada

With no access to water or electricity, this parking lot costs a derisory €5 per day. Open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. in high season, this parking lot offers a breathtaking view of the snow-covered Sierra Nevada valley… What’s more, a cable car accessible from the parking lot takes you directly to the foot of the slopes!

Caravanning campsites

As with any road trip in a converted van, a little comfort may be welcome, either occasionally or during your entire stay in the mountains.
Comfort is possible, even in the mountains with a van! In fact, there are campsites known as “caravaneige” (snow caravans), where you’ll have access to sanitary facilities, electricity and water, as well as storage and drying facilities for your ski gear.
We’re not going to lie, a good shower after a day on the slopes is priceless, so don’t hesitate to opt for this parking option if you’re apprehensive about the adventure!
Rates vary from resort to resort, but are generally around €25/night.
Bonus: some campsites even offer heated swimming pools and saunas… a real treat before a night under the stars!

Wild spots

For you, adventure in a converted van necessarily means a night in the wilderness? Don’t worry, it’s possible and we recommend it, as long as you’ve planned ahead to be totally self-sufficient.

See our article Where to sleep in a converted van in Spain on this subject.
Sleeping in a wild nightspot means you’ll be immersed in nature, surrounded by snow-covered trees – a dream come true, don’t you think?
But it’s not easy to find a suitable night spot in the mountains, especially in winter. To find the ideal location, use the Parkfornight app to find the night spot of your dreams.
The rules are the same as in summer: make sure you don’t leave any trace of your passage, as garbage and other equipment have no place in nature.

To vary the pleasures and live a van adventure truly out of the ordinary, do not hesitate to vary the locations during your ski trip in a van to take advantage of all the opportunities that this van experience in winter sports can offer you!

The advantages of ski vacations in a converted van

Vanlife_montagne

The essentials to remember when planning your van trip

Here’s a checklist to help you prepare for your trip in a converted van. The first thing to remember is to pack light but make the most of it! Before you leave, make sure you take all the essentials with you – adventure will tell you the rest!

Things to remember

Identity papers, driving license and credit card are essential for your trip! Don’t forget to check in advance the regulations in force in your destination country regarding your driving license, as sometimes a European license is not enough. Please visit the website or contact the automobile club association. Last but not least, it’s always a good idea to take some change with you at the start of your van road trip, in case you can’t find an ATM.

Space-saving extras

Here is a non-exhaustive list of accessories to take with you in your van to make your daily life easier:
-Soft travel bag
-Flashlight/headlamp
-A hand brush
-A microfiber towel
-A Swiss Army Knife
-A bar of biodegradable soap (body and hair, to save on clutter)

-A card game
-One or two tea towels
If you rent your van from VanBreak, most of the essential accessories are already included in the vans. For the rest, take a look at our options and our article How to prepare your trip in a VanBreak van.

Don’t burden yourself unnecessarily

Soft bags are preferable to suitcases, as they are easier to store in your van.

We can’t stress it enough: going on a road trip in a van or camper van can be a real challenge. is not the same as vacationing in an all-inclusive hotel. Clothing, accessories and superfluous products are not welcome: they take up space and are not essential. It’s well known that “more can be less”, so you’ll have no trouble simplifying your life during your holiday. road trip in a converted van!

Make sure you know the weather forecast for your destination, so you can take only the essentials. So if there’s something you really don’t need on your van trip, you’ll be able to find it on the spot. Remember, you’re about to embark on an adventure, so leave room for the unexpected and improvisation – it’s all part of the program!

Checklist of places to sleep to prepare your road trip in a converted van

The night is certainly one of the most important moments of your trip. A good night’s sleep is essential if you want to get the most out of your van road trip! Depending on where you sleep, you’ll probably be awakened by a few noises, but that doesn’t detract from the magic of spending the night in your van or camper van…

There are many possibilities, but the ideal is to go where you feel good! The ParkFornight app will help you find the nightspot that suits you best.

Road Trip Portugal - Camper Van

Wild spots

There’s no doubt that sleeping in the great outdoors will appeal to many! If you choose to spend the night in a quiet place and wake up to a wilderness setting, remember to prepare your night.

Check in advance that the nightspot in question is not off-limits, and that your van or cam per van can access it easily. To do this, take a topographical map on your phone or a road map that will show you the relief and paths to get there. Our article Map or GPS for my road trip in a VW combi? will give you a clearer idea.

Finally, don’t forget to check out the site and the state of the ground before nightfall. This is essential if you don’t want any nasty surprises after dark. At VanBreak, we provide you with shims to adjust the level of your van!

Don’t hesitate to consult our article on wilderness camping to get ready for theadventure!

Home stay

Spend one or more nights in a local home with your van or camper van is a great way to get tips on the best places to visit in the region, and above all to meet new people and spend some unforgettable moments.

To do this, you can indulge in unexpected encounters, or use the HomeCamper website to find hosts around you offering a place with more or less facilities for the night.

Plus: rates are often very affordable!

Sleeping at the campsite

Road Trip VW Grand California - Vanbreak

The best-known option is undoubtedly camping. If you’d like to opt for a bit of comfort (electricity or a shower, for example), you can stop off at a campsite during your van road trip. The advantage of a converted van is that it will take you (almost) anywhere, so think about varying nightspots to make your trip more enjoyable!

Places to avoid

It sounds obvious, but think about anticipating any noise that might occur in the spot where you plan to spend the night. Park away from shops, nightclubs and even churches, where the sound of bells might wake you up if you’re not a morning person!

Finally, we advise against sleeping at freeway service areas. Although generally strategic depending on your itinerary, freeway service areas are prone to unwanted visitors and night-time disturbances.

Check regulations

Generally speaking, if there are no signs explicitly forbidding converted vans to park overnight, you have the right to sleep in the place of your choice. But be sure to check with other travellers in vans to find out what regulations apply in the area where you’ll be taking your road trip!

To avoid attracting any unpleasantness, make sure you don’t spread out: put away tables, chairs and other accessories in the van before sleeping, so you can keep a low profile!

Of course, wherever you sleep, don’t leave a trace! Dirty waste, accessories and water have no place on your nihgtspot. So remember to put all your garbage (as well as toilet paper and cigarette butts) in a rubbish bag and dispose of it at the end of your visit to the spot.

Finally, it goes without saying that respect for other campers and nature is essential! So don’t make too much noise, and enjoy the silence.

Where to find water when traveling in a converted van?

Water in the converted van is an absolute must. Cooking and showering will be impossible if your water supply runs dry. Always remember to anticipate the level of your tank. VanBreak’s water tanks range in capacity from 20 to 100 L.

Often highly calcareous and in constant contact with plastic, it’s best not to consume this water directly, but to boil it before use. It’s ideal for making hot drinks or cooking pasta and eggs… For hydration, we recommend you never run out of water bottles, especially if you’re going on anadventure in Andalusia!
So where do you fill your tank?

Public places

Gas stations

Most service stations offer clean water free of charge.

Parking lots for motor homes

Parkings and areas for motorhomes and van parks generally have a water point accessible to all.

Campsites

Designed to accommodate motorhomes, vans and other types of camper vans, the campsites are equipped with water points for filling your tank.

Public gardens

It’s easy to forget, but there’s nothing to stop you filling up a bottle or two in advance in the fountains and taps found in public parks and gardens. Be sure to check that it is drinkable

Mobile applications

Park 4 Night(coup de cœur): in addition to helping you find your nightspot, this collaborative app will tell you about its amenities: electricity, grey water disposal space and water presence!

FreeTaps: ideal for preparing your trip in a converted van, this free app helps you find drinking water points in your area. Enriched by its users, this application’s listing of drinking water points is complete and encourages you not to use plastic bottles but your water bottles or glass bottles!

MapsMe: also helps you find your way around and locate available water sources. Please note that the application does not always specify whether the water is drinking water or not. Bonus: the plans can be consulted offline!

Nature: your best ally

We tend to forget it, but water is all around us, especially when weventure out in a van far from city centers. Admittedly, showering with river water may seem a little rudimentary, but the experience is well worth it! Rivers, lakes, waterfalls… don’t hesitate to let yourself be tempted by a shower in symbiosis with nature!

Not always drinkable, this water is worth filtering if you’re running low on resources! Think of filtering straws and water bottles to purify your water and make it drinkable.

Locals

Some farmers, producers or locals will be delighted to help you out in an emergency, in exchange for a small bill or a small gift from you! Road-trips in fully-equipped vans make it much easier to interact with the locals than from your hotel room!

We’ve put together a few simple yet original recipes to keep your meal as pleasant and convivial as possible!

Penne, zucchini, curry cream sauce

A classic, but one that takes on a whole new flavour when prepared with a view of the sea or forest! Recipe here.

Omelette with tomato, garlic and basil

Accompanied by a salad, this omelette takes just a few minutes to prepare. Don’t hesitate to do it with your children, becausevan adventure is all about living in a community!

Fried rice with bacon and mushrooms

You could almost find it on a restaurant menu… So why deprive yourself of such a beautiful pan?

Lost breads

A gourmet pleasure that’s sure to cheer you up on rainy afternoons and difficult mornings! Never say no to good French toast.

Finally, don’t forget that during your adventure you’ll have to improvise. Depending on your destination, small local restaurants, roadside merchants and other van travellers will also be part of your culinary journey!

Indispensable: an itinerary to prepare your trip in a converted van

Although improvisation and schedule changes will be part of your adventure, we recommend that you consider a global itinerary before you leave. This will enable you to anticipate your overnight stops and reserve available slots if you wish to visit!

Your road trip itinerary

Establishing your route takes time and is not easy when you don’t know the area. That’s why VanBreak has thought of everything and offers you a wide range of itineraries so you can leave with peace of mind!
Find all our
itineraries
here .
Anticipating the itinerary of your road trip in a converted van will save you time and allow you to make the most of your days without spending all day on the road! We therefore advise you not to travel more than 100 to 150km per day.

A road trip adapted to your van or camper van

Our converted vans are not all-terrain vehicles, so don’t venture onto roads that don’t seem suitable. Your journey can quickly take a different turn if you have to call the tow truck…

Likewise, try to anticipate as much as possible where the height of the van would be a problem. The
vans and panel vans
are low and often higher than your car. So be sensible when planning your trip in a converted van, because as your van is your home, it would be foolish to damage it!

Whatever happens, remember that the most important thing for enjoying your
van road trip
is to show a little flexibility and be ready for an extraordinary adventure!

Road trip in a converted van: 10 advantages of Burstner City Car

Road trip in a converted van: 10 advantages of Burstner City Car 720 714 VanBreak - Campervan and MotorHome Hire in Spain

Are you new to the world of camper vans? I was also a novice this summer, when we rented the VW California Ocean with VanBreak. It’s the perfect combi van for a beach vacation, or a short break during the summer months. For our second road trip, we opted for a larger, better-equipped van, the Burstner City Car. Travelling in low season, we chose this converted van for our road trip to Toledo and Segovia.. A larger van isn’t always a better option, but in this case, especially with the cooler temperatures, it was really ideal!

mini motorhome rental vanbreak malaga

If you’re planning to rent one of these converted vans during the off-season or winter, here are 10 good reasons why you should give it a try!

1/ A warm stay

The Burstner City Car van is fully equipped, including a stationary heater. It can therefore be used when the van is stationary. So there’s no risk of getting cold, even at night! You can easily adjust the temperature to your liking using the digital control panel. The heater runs on a secondary battery, independent of the drive battery, which has a range of around two days.

Stationary city car heater

2/ A top-of-the-range bed

Our bed was really comfortable. Probably better quality than half the hotels we’ve stayed in, to be honest. There’s a large night area, with spotlights and charging sockets. The converted van has two modular double bunk beds. The top one can be raised to the maximum to leave more height on the second one, if you’re travelling with just two people. It’s very practical to be able to drive with the bed ready, and slip straight into it after a long day’s driving.

Top-of-the-range city car adjustable beds

3/ A real bathroom

Probably the biggest advantage of this van: the integrated bathroom, with toilet and shower. The flush is fed from the water tank, and a curtain protects the toilet while you shower. And of course, the City Car is equipped with hot water, which is a real luxury in winter. You can open the roof window in the bathroom to ventilate the space. Of course, there’s a mirror in this toilet area. The toilet tank is easy to empty, and has an indicator to show the fill level.

4/ Comfortable driving

Let’s take a moment to appreciate the comfort of this van’s seats. The quality of the leather from which they are made means that you can drive in excellent condition. The seats – driver and passenger – are adjustable in height and inclination, and feature armrests. There’s also a two-seater rear bench, if you’re traveling with 4 people. The front seats turn to face it, providing living space for 4 around the table when the van is stationary.

living space vanbreak van

5/ The lighting system

Normally, the lighting system isn’t that important, but the City Car’s is great. In the evening, you can use the ceiling spotlights to illuminate the entire length of the van. You can also create a more subdued ambience by using floor spotlights, which create a cocooning atmosphere. There are also individual lights in the bathroom and above the sink, table and beds.

6/ A fitted kitchen

Both the VW California and the City Car have a fully equipped kitchen area, but the City Car’s is more spacious and more pleasant to cook in. Both vans have two gas-fired cooking rings, and plenty of storage space for food. They are, of course, rented with all essential kitchen utensils. The major difference is the size of the fridge, which is much larger in the City Car. It can store all your supplies for a few days. Finally, there’s a shelf that extends the worktop and saves space for cooking.

fully equipped kitchen in the vanbreak malaga mini motorhome

7/ Spacious living space

The living area of this converted van is a real luxury. As mentioned above, the two front seats turn to create a practical living space, offering 4 seats around the interior table. This can be removed while you’re driving, if you have passengers in the back seat. Recharging sockets and USB adapters are also available under the table. If you can’t enjoy the outdoors because of the cold, this is a very comfortable living space for dining, with an extension that makes the table larger.

interior table mini motorhome rental malaga

8/ Plenty of storage space

What’s a camper van without storage space? The City Car has far more storage space than the California Ocean. We appreciated this, as we were traveling with a lot of luggage. As mentioned above, there’s plenty of storage in the kitchen, but also cupboards in the living area, under the fridge and next to the bathroom. There’s also space under the bed to store your suitcases and other bulky accessories or sports equipment (surfing, etc.). It’s so handy to be able to unpack and put away all your stuff, without having to step on it!

storage space for vanbreak van rentals

9/ The closet

This is technically part of the storage space, but I think it’s worth pointing out. If you’ve ever rented a smaller van, you’ll be familiar with the problem of storing bulky items such as coats and jackets. The closet is another great advantage of the Burstner minicaravan, because when your coats are stored in it, you’re left with all the other closets to store the rest of your clothes.

10/ The mini motorhome plus

If the Burstner van is already great, it’s also equipped with a host of gadgets to make your life easier. A switch at the entrance to the vehicle enables you to activate the exit step for easy climbing into the vehicle. So if you have difficulty getting on board, or are travelling with young children, this step is really useful!

luxury mini motorhome running board

If these 10 reasons aren’t enough, why not try one of the Burstner City Cars yourself? You’ll love the freedom of traveling with the comfort of a hotel, aboard a luxury mini motorhome

If you could live anywhere, wouldn’t you want to live everywhere?

A little while ago, my French friends who had just started their company VanBreak Malaga  came up with the best idea. They asked me to test one of their newest campervans, the Volkswagen California Beach for a road trip from Malaga (Spain) to Faro (Portugal)…a route along the most beautiful coasts of Europe. A verrrry welcome break after some intensive hikes so I didn’t need much time to say YES :).

The days before I left I couldn’t think of anything else then driving around in my bikini all day. Dreaming of camping on beaches and gathering around a campfire while drinking beers under the stars.

Guess what? The reality was e-xac-tly like this. What an experience! It was hard to say goodbye to my new “home” after 6 days of living like a gypsie. This way of traveling perfectly represent exactly what I am about; flexible travel, finding your own way, getting an authentic and fulfilling travel experience, traveling with – and making new – friends.

There’s no freer, more satisfying feeling than packing your (few) belongings into a van and taking off on the long open road, with nothing but some good tunes, good friends or lover and the tarmac for company. And…road tripping in a campervan is not only for hardcore adventure seekers and outdoor lovers. With a shower on board (cold, but this will warm up during the day), a little kitchen, and a pretty comfortable bed, this way of traveling is suitable even for the less experienced camper.

1. Freedom

This is absolutely the best reason and the beauty of road tripping in a campervan. You can go wherever you want to. Just so long as there’s a road and you’ve not run out of petrol you’re perfectly fine. You are completely free to go and stop & sleep where ever you want! Today you’re in Paris, tomorrow you sleep at the beach in Spain and in a week you’re checking out Rome! Navigated to a place but you don’t really like it? Don’t worry and look for that perfect spot! Even sleeping in the middle of a city is possible (and saves you loooooot’s of money on expensive hotels). #your home is where you park your van 😉

2. You sleep on the most exclusive places

There are few five star hotels in the world that will offer you as unrivalled immersion and breathtaking views in nature as a van will. You can literally sleep on the beach, feel the breeze of the sea and hear the mesmerizing sound of rolling waves (which made me pee a lot, but hey that’s part of the deal). Come the morning, it will just be you and the birds watching the sun rise over the horizon. Waking up with the sunlight in your face is the best feeling in the world!

Yes, it can be a bit creaky and a little less comfortable than a five star bed but that’s the charm!

3. It’s a cheap way to travel

Camping in a van is the cheapest way to travel (not counting a tent and a bike, but you’ve got to be bloody fit and feel like it to cycle around with a tent). It’s accommodation and transport all rolled into one, so if you’re looking for adventure, it’s the way forward.

When I stay in a luxurious hotel resort, I get so bored after a couple of hours near the pool that the only way to entertain myself is to go shopping or to order food and drinks, and more drinks, and more food. When you do a road trip, you will be grateful for all your adventures and beautiful views, so you won’t need much entertainment. The most amazing moments are the mornings when you have your freshly brewed coffee while enjoying the sunset from your bed, and pick nicks on the beach with stinky cheese, some bread and cheap ass wine. This way of living saves you at least one bottle of Moet a day.

Stock up with snacks, water and other drinks from supermarkets instead of getting them from the service stations on route. You will save lots of money.

4. Everyday is an adventure

From deciding where you’re going to sleep, eat and shower, from one day to the next, it will never be the same! Each day, a new road will take you to a new place, a new view, a new community and a new way of life. Each day you will be lucky enough to meet new people from all walks of life, and learn things without realizing.

Camping in a campervan definitely takes you off the beaten path. While looking for cool places to stay, we often drove into small roads, not knowing where to end up…and found the most beautiful places. In addition to hotels booking up, a lot of places you end up with your campervan in the search for a beautiful spot are very rural with few hotel options, especially the areas near or, even better ON the beach. With a campervan you avoid driving to and from your hotel every day, allowing you to spend more time in these beautiful off-the-beaten-path places where accommodations are limited.

I loved the sense of freedom that came with this road trip. The idea that you can head for the horizon and never come back. I might consider living like this for the coming few years…;)

How do I prepare the trip in Campervan or MotorHome

How do I prepare the trip in Campervan or MotorHome 1600 1066 VanBreak - Campervan and MotorHome Hire in Spain

Before leaving… How do I prepare the road trip in Campervan or Motorhome?

Traveling is dreaming the trip. But it is also and above all getting ready. That’s why, it is not necessary to take the kitchen sink with you. Almost everything is in the combi (link to the page). Some basic toiletry products should be enough. A few tips before leaving:

> Travel light, with the minimum in your bag. However, think of the temperature variations between day and night, the sea and the mountain, the sun and the rain. Apart from the clothes, you will only need a sleeping bag. Sheets and the pillows are available.

> A first-aid kit is yet in the combi. However, it is highly recommended to take sun cream for the hot season, some good quality sun glasses and, for surfing and climbing, a good arnica oil, that will relieve your body after the effort.

> Regarding gears, two small tools might be useful: a swiss army knife, very practical for pique-nicks and other improvised plans (there is also tableware within the kitchen’s equipment), and to connect your mobile phone, if necessary, a cigar-lighter with USB.

> That’s all! For the rest, everything is already in the van: portable shower, camping stove, cutlery, table, chairs, beds, torch, towels, sheets etc.

Have a good trip!
